Katie & Tim

I've known Katie for quite a long time--we both went to the same high school and sat together during lunch our junior year. Now we're both engaged (and were proposed to at the same location!) I was really excited when Katie contacted me about taking her engagement photos--she and her fiance had some great ideas!

Someone knocked out a pane of glass in this phonebooth--it worked perfectly for us!

At the Spoonholder, where Tim proposed

Katie and Tim weren't afraid to show off their nerdy sides...and I love it!

Read their shirts!

Another favorite--I think Tim actually was too tall to hang from the bars!

Staci

I actually took Staci's senior portraits and her sisters bridal portraits together--look for Shelbi's portraits after her wedding in May! Staci and Shelbi's parents and grandparents came with to watch too--we had quite the entourage as we made our way around the OU campus--thank you all for coming! Congratulations on your graduation, Staci!

Marissa & Jay do Bricktown

I've been wanting to do some portraits of Jay, my fiance, for quite a while now. We finally had the opportunity when we headed up to Bricktown for an evening out a few weeks ago (I think Jay also lost a bet...or something along that line). When we met 5 years ago, Jay was pathologically afraid of having his photo taken--I think he's come a long way!

We weren't serious the entire time...

My personal favorite

Jay's personal favorite

Part of the deal was handing over my camera to Jay so he could try out his hand at portrait photography--I believe he was telling me how much talent he has when he took the portrait below...(can you tell!)

As it turns out, Jay isn't half bad. A little cropping and editing resulted in this picture of me below--maybe I wont have to disappear behind the camera for the rest of my life?

Alice

I took Alice's portraits in downtown OKC at the Myriad Botanical Gardens & Bricktown--we had a great time finding unique places, which wasn't hard to do in that area! Alice is a natural at posing--here are some of the shots from that afternoon.
